THIS HAPPENED AGAIN AT 40,000 MILES AND THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED BY THE DEALERSHIP. AT 55,000 MILES THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP FOR THE SAME PROBLEM AND THE TRANSMISSION WAS REBUILT. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REBUILT A FINAL TIME AT 65,000 MILES. THERE HAVE BEEN NO FURTHER PROBLEMS WITH THE TRANSMISSION.

Hi there! I just wanted to share my experience with my 95 Ford Aspire. I am actually the second owner and I have to say, I absolutely love it! It has been such a reliable car for me, with only routine maintenance like oil changes. Even with 133k miles on it, it is still going strong. I plan on driving it until it can't go anymore! I have been doing some research on other vehicles, and I think I might go with a KIA since they make the Aspire. But I just have to say again, I really do love my KIA!

I was lucky enough to buy my Aspire from my cousin, after years of begging him to sell it to me. At the time, it had 163K on the motor, but even after nine (k) more miles, the motor finally gave out. However, I didn't give up on it and had a new motor installed, as well as working over most of the parts. Now, I can't imagine what I would do without it! With 38mpg city and 41mpg highway (easy driving/no AC on), it's been a reliable and efficient car. I wouldn't hesitate to find another Aspire and get it back on the road too!

I love this car, I have named it Peppy. I will never get rid of it. It has never given me a problem. The only time it has been worked on is for regular maintenance. I have purchased 2 other vehicles since Peppy, but the Asipe is a keeper. The car has served me well. It's a well-built little car.

I was looking for a scooter to use for shopping and running errands, with a budget of $1,000. At a charity auction, I found a small car with only 40,000 original miles. I was able to outbid someone else with $800. Although it needed a tune-up and new headlight bulbs, I now drive it to work every day, covering 40 miles round trip. It gets over 42 MPG on a regular basis and only takes 6 gallons to fill up once a week. It's much better than my 350z or my F150, as it can zip in and around big cars and park anywhere I choose. Plus, there are no fancy toys to break. I even removed the back seat to create a large cargo space. Best of all, I can drive this car all year round. I plan to keep driving it until I can no longer find parts for it. Who needs a Prius when you have this amazing car?

I hope you're doing well! I just wanted to share some information about my car's fuel efficiency. I have a 96 automatic that gets around 32 mpg, and a 1995 5 speed that tops out at 44 mpg. Additionally, with the back seat out, I can even haul a full-sized gas dryer with the hatch down!

It's great to connect with you! I've lived in Kansas, Arkansas, and now Iowa. I frequently travel back and forth between those places, and I've found that it only costs me $35 to get to Arkansas from Iowa. I'm really impressed with the gas mileage on this car. In fact, I've put over ten thousand miles on mine in the last 4 months, and it only has 85k on it as of now. My dad originally got it for himself, but then he upgraded to a 2007 Crown Vic and gave me the Aspire. He paid $900 cash for it, which was a great deal. There are a few minor issues with the car, such as the trim around the windshield coming off and the top trim that seals the car coming off as well. It's not the fastest car out there, but I think its acceleration is decent for a Ford Aspire (mainly because it's a stick). Overall, it's a great starter car that's perfect for long trips because of its great gas mileage, even if it's not the most comfortable ride.

I can understand why some people might not consider it the greatest car, but personally, I prefer it over some others. The size can be a bit of an issue at times, especially when compared to larger vehicles like Dodge Ram pickups that tower over me, but it's a normal size compared to other cars. While it may not be as fast as I had hoped, I have never had to do any special work on it since I bought it, other than the usual oil and filter changes.

I came across a listing for an Aspire 2-DR automatic while searching for a reliable and affordable used compact car. After reading reviews on this platform, I decided to purchase it. I am quite satisfied with my purchase, especially with the mileage it provides. Although it has some interior noise and could use a bit more pick-up on the 0-60 time, it has no problem maintaining its speed once it gets going.
