I've only owned this car for a short period, but it's fantastic! I've owned and driven many cars in my time, but this one has quickly stolen my heart. I absolutely love this little car. It drives like every boy's childhood dream of owning a Hotwheels, only this is the adult version. While it may not be the most practical car, as it can only carry a gallon of milk, it's not meant to be. It's not the smoothest ride and can be noisy with the top up, but it has one job, and that's to put a smile on your face. And it does that every time you drive it! On my first day driving it on the highway, I took a cloverleaf at speeds that would have put another car in the ditch, and I didn't even know it. But I had the biggest grin on my face!

I love the look of your silver MR2. It sounds like a reliable car that handles well and gets great gas mileage, unless you decide to drive VERY fast, which it definitely knows how to do! The interior sounds very sporty and great for a 5-footer like you. You get so much style for the price, and of course Toyota quality and reliability. I am surprised I do not see more of these zipping around town!

Your Spyder is a great looking, awesome handling, head turning machine. However, it lacks the power needed to keep up with the rest of the performance market. I understand that you have owned your Spyder since Jan of 01, but recently got rid of it because of reliability issues that a lot of people were having. Unfortunately, these issues were not small ones, but major engine failures. The oil control rings are poorly designed/machined, which leads to oil being burned and the catalytic converters frying. After driving over 35000 miles, it seems like my car has been experiencing some issues. The power steering and suspension have gone bad, and there are some rattles in the soft top, body, and exhaust system.
