Porsche 917K 917/023 / FLY CAR MODEL / MIHL

Special edition for the Automobile Museum

The Galician entrepreneur Julio Páramo has been pursuing the dream of creating an Automobile Museum in Sarria, Lugo, at the headquarters of the old Cissa Cinema. A museum in which through an extensive collection of slot models the history of motoring is explained.

While progress is being made in the creation of this museum, Paixon Motor, a temporary exhibition has been opened at the Interactive Museum of the History of Lugo, MIHL. There you can see a collection of more than 500 scale, slot and static cars until February 26, to promote the project.

In addition, to complement and help finance the Museum, a special edition of a Porsche 917K has been made. For this, the model corresponding to chassis 917/023 has been chosen, of which Fly had made six of the seven possible liveries for this car. Only the reproduction of the 917K that participated in the 1000 km of Monza in 1971 was missing.

250 units of this model have been made.

These are the references of the seven versions of the Porsche 917/K (023) made by Fly Car Model including the one made for MIHL.
