LE MANS MINIATURES 2023
Celebrating 100 years of Le Mans.
It couldn't be otherwise. The French brand Le Mans Miniatures did not want to ignore the centenary of the legendary French race without dedicating a model, from its range at 1:32 scale.
And he has chosen the winner of the first edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Chenard-Walker Type U3. The car is scheduled for June this year.
Le Mans Miniatures, as it did last year, has only announced its products for the first half of the year. The year started with the Mirage GR8 already mentioned in SlotCar Today but it is still going strong, this February a new Porsche 911 Carrera RS will arrive, from the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen in 1973.
In March, three new Bugatti Type 59, #16, #8 and #28 arrive and in the spring a re-edition of the Mirage M1 Gulf is expected. They will be 1:32 scale models but with static model chassis, due to the lack of components that prevents the assembly of the cars, according to the French brand itself.
In May, another of the novelties arrives, the Bugatti Type 57S 45 from the GP ACF of 1947, in two versions #14 and #16 and finally we will have to wait until the month of June to enjoy the 1:32 scale reproduction of the Chenard Walker, which will coincide with the centenary of the French endurance race.
