Ford GT40 / NSR

D.Hobbs, M.Hailwood / JWA Engineering / 1969 Le Mans 24

At the end of this month of January, the Italian brand NSR will put a new Ford GT40 on the track, the seventh in the range, with the livery of the 1969 24 Hours of Le Mans. It will be the reproduction of the second of the Gulf Racing GT40s of the JWA team, #7, which finished in third final position of the French race. The winner of the race, #6, was reproduced by NSR in its day, and is currently out of print.

David Hobbs and Mike Hailwood drove this second Gulf car to third position four laps behind Ickx and Oliver's car.

This new NSR model follows the trend of the brand's classic range and mounts a Shark 21.5 Evo engine in a sidewinder position on the Evo engine mount.

The model will be on sale in the brand's specialized centers and on the manufacturer's own website.
