D.Hobbs / M. Donohue. Penske Racing. 24H Daytona 1971

In a race full of incidents both in and out of the race, including a plane crash, Team Penske's Ferrari 512M, a modified 512S, with David Hobbs and Mark Donohue at the wheel managed to finish in third position the 1971 24 Hours of Daytona. Looking at the images at the end of the race, the body of the 512M seemed more like it had come from a scrapyard, due to the amount of Duct Tape, adhesive tape, that covered the damage suffered by the spectacular Donohue accident.

Slot.it reproduces the #6 Team Penske car in its pre-race aesthetic at 1:32 scale for slot. It is the second model of this Ferrari 512M that reproduces the Italian brand. It will be available from January 31 in all specialized centers of the brand.
