BMW 2.8 / SLOT RACING COMPANY

The wait is coming to an end.

We believe that it was around 2014 when SlotCar Today published the first images of the stereolithographs, 3D printing had not yet been imposed, of the SRC BMW 2.8. Business circumstances, added to changes in orientation, rethinking of the range, and other global crises have delayed the project, on which apparently work has never stopped. Now, SRC has just confirmed that this coming February we will see the first Chrono and Original versions of this new model on the slot tracks.

Kit versions with white bodywork, to begin with, and with a decoration that has been changing over time and that seems to definitely correspond to a Castrol version, that of Rauno Aaltonen in the 1972 Olimpia Rally.

At the moment we have been able to collect the images of the final bodywork at 1:32 scale, and we are waiting to know more details about this launch.
